Our Summer Series “Let There Be…” begins THIS SUNDAY! I can’t wait. I am so excited.
This summer we will study the first four chapters of Genesis and the incredible way that God created the world. We will also explore practical ways that we can take care of God’s creation.
I am awestruck when I consider the diversity of our world; beaches and mountains, insects and mammals, rivers and oceans, deserts and valleys, galaxies and planets…and you and me.
When I contemplate the vastness of God’s creation, I think the words of Psalm 8:
“When I consider your heavens,
the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars,
which you have set in place,
what is humanity that you are mindful of them,
human beings that you care for them?”
-Psalm 8:4
Sometimes we can feel small and insignificant in light of the massive, intricate world around us. How is it that God is mindful of us in comparison to all that God created?
As you’ll discover during this summer series, God cares for humanity a great deal. God has a plan and purpose for each person that God created.
*God created you in his image
*God created you to be a steward of the earth
*God created you and called you very good
